IS SEO EASY TO LEARN?

SEO is not that hard to learn. All you have to do is be willing to allocate the necessary time and effort to learn the various SEO concepts. If you are just getting started with SEO and wondering what it takes to go from novice to expert, then this program is for you.

COURSE PREREQUISITE(S) & REQUIREMENTS

1. No particular prerequisites, though a strong commitment to learning the required skills.
2. Attendance in the Online Tutorial is a must. All participants will be required to keep their Zoom videos on during the Tutorials. eLearners will need to take prior approval if unable to attend any session.
3. Submission of Individual and Group projects on time required for Peer and Instructor Assessment.
4. Passing marks for Certification is 80% (subject to Grassroots evaluation).
5. Grassroots Certification only to be provided to learners who are able to meet course requirements 2, 3 & 4.

5. Perform On-page Optimization to rank the website higher in Google search results.
6. Perform Off-page Optimization, learning of different link building techniques. 
7. Apply advanced techniques that will make the websites rank better than competitors.
8. Use some of the most important tools for SEO.
9. SEO Auditing.
10. Manage a complete SEO project.
11. Acquiring online SEO related projects on different freelancing platforms.

HOW WILL YOU LEARN SEO AT GRASSROOTS?  

You will learn Search Engine Optimization skills by attending once a week live online tutorials with the Instructor.  Watching topic wise videos in Grassroots eLearning System during the week.  Doing online assignments, and connecting virtually with your group members to share your learning experience.

HOW OFTEN WILL YOU BE REQUIRED TO ATTEND YOUR ONLINE CLASSES FOR SEO?

Your online class will be held once a week and the duration is 2 hours.

COURSE GRADING

– Online Class Attendance: Students are expected to come prepared having watched the pre-assigned videos and actively participate in the online tutorial discussions.  Students will need to maintain 75% attendance to be eligible for attendance marks for successful completion of the program.

– Online Quizzes: (25%): They will specifically focus on drawing connections between related content in the course videos and online tutorial discussions. 

Quiz 1: 10% marks 

Quiz 2: 15% marks

– Individual Assignments (75%): Students will work on five individual assignments and each carries 15% weightage.
